St. Augustin, November 2019. P+B Group, a renowned and dynamically growing builder and project developer headquartered in St. Augustin near Bonn, has once again expanded its senior management. Now, Markus Volk was appointed COO and is responsible for acquisition, project development, project management and customer relations. As an additional Managing Director, he complements the P+B Management Board which comprises company founder and CEO Gerd Hebebrand and Frank Hilbertz, who was appointed CFO of P+B Group in December 2018.
In recent years, P+B Group has grown very dynamically and will consistently continue this expansion course with a current project development volume of around 700 million euros. "This requires the corporate structures to grow organically as well", emphasizes Gerd Hebebrand, CEO of P+B Group.
Markus Volk initially spent several months as technical director of P+B Group before being appointed managing director. "During this time we were able to convince ourselves in day‐to‐day practice of his excellent expertise and sound know‐how as a project developer. With Markus Volk, we have gained a proven manager with whom we are well prepared for our further growth", explains Gerd Hebebrand.
Before joining P+B Group, Volk, a graduate civil engineer (FH) and master of business administration (VWA), spent many years in leading positions at STRABAG Real Estate GmbH and Ed. Züblin AG. As to his new role, Markus Volk explains: "As a company that is not dependent on banks, P+B Group is one of the most exciting project developers in Germany. The flat hierarchies and fast decision‐making processes open up new scope for me as a COO, which hardly exists anywhere else. Together with the highly effective P+B team, my aim is to continuously optimise the Group's already outstanding quality standards and lead P+B's project developments to sustained success".
