208 Campo Novo appartments in mannheim

(Mannheim, August 2018) P+B, one of the leading project developers in residential construction in Germany, continues to be strongly active in the areas of micro apartments, which are offered as business or student apartments. Based in St. Augustin and with an office in Frankfurt am Main, the company has now begun construction of Campo Novo Mannheim, its fifth student residence in Germany. Currently the excavation pit is being dug. Completion of the building with a total of 208 apartments and 313 beds is already planned for September 2019, just before the start of the winter term.  Gerd Hebebrand, Managing Director of P+B comments: "Since the completion of our first student residence in Stuttgart-Vaihingen, the Campo Novo houses have set new standards in the market. With the latest facility in Mannheim, we are now entering a new regional market and are confident that we can seamlessly build on the successes of the other locations in Stuttgart-Vaihingen, Freiburg and Mainz.” Already in January of this year, P+B commenced the construction of 305 additional business apartments in Freiburg.

Campo Novo Mannheim is currently being built on Birkenauer Strasse, at the corner of Robert-Funari-Strasse, near important student facilities. The house offers a total of 208 ultra-modern and comfortable units with 103 single suites and 105 double suites. All apartments are furnished, have parquet flooring, a high-quality kitchen, balcony and modern bathrooms. The outside area offers space for bicycles, motorcycles and cars. A bank-independent project venture of P+B acts as the property developer – Ed. Züblin AG has been commissioned as the general contractor. Hildebrandt Immobilien, which has already successfully placed all the other Campo Novo houses on the market, was won over for the marketing activities. The portfolio is aimed primarily at investors who wish to benefit from low interest rates and above-average returns.

Additional houses under construction and planning
Even before the kick-off of Campo Novo Mannheim, the construction of a second house in Freiburg, the Campo Novo Business, had begun. With 305 units, the new facility in the Breisgau region is almost as large as the Campo Novo Freiburg with 326 apartments, which was completed in 2014. However, this facility does not offer classic student apartments, but 305 business apartments. Another development is currently being planned in Stuttgart-Vaihingen, where 259 hotel apartments are to be built and completed in 2021.

Since 2011, P+B has already introduced four hotels with around 1,250 high-quality apartments and almost 1,800 beds onto the market. This makes the company one of the leading developers in the premium segment of micro apartments. In addition to student residences, the group is also active in the office and hotel sectors. In addition, P+B also develops entire city districts, such as the Parkend project in Frankfurt's Europaviertel. The company operates independently of banks and realises all projects exclusively with equity capital.
